We have been waiting for XZotto for a long time, haven’t we?  We have been busy building our teams and some of us have even gotten our feet wet with pooling our lottery funds!

“Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?!” That’s the simple question Regis Philbin would ask at the start of every episode of the game show (he’s now moved on to his other millionaire ventures). The show quickly became a smash hit from its origin in the UK to the US and instantly around the world. Why?

“Generate Insane Profits on Auto-Pilot & Become an Instant Millionaire While You Sleep!” If you’ve conducted any online research looking for home business opportunities, you’ve likely found yourself on dozens of web sites screaming outrageous promises to you of overnight riches and millionaire status. How come?

Because there is a common bond among the vast majority of people that is the “American Dream.” This dream has one very simple and consistent component: the relentless pursuit of money. It is this pursuit of riches that makes you want to live in a nice house, with multiple luxury cars, and expensive toys.

This Is Unbelievable! Quick Fact from My Quick and Dirty Google Search

First, before I share my findings with you, let me ask you this: If you have a choice (which you absolutely do) of being a millionaire or a billionaire, which would you choose to be?

So here’s what I just did as I was writing this article. I ran two searches. One for the term “millionaire” and one for the term “billionaire.” I found it mind boggling that there were roughly 6.76 million search results for “billionaire” compared to a whopping 16 million results for “millionaire!” But after taking a moment to think about why such a discrepancy exists, it all makes sense.

First, there are many more millionaires in the world than there are billionaires. According to Forbes Magazine, as of March 2007, there are 946 billionaires in the world with 178 of them being newcomers. (I did the math for you: the world now has 23% more billionaires than it did a year ago!) And this compares to the 9.5 million millionaires in the world (Merrill Lynch & Cap Gemini, The 2007 Wealth Report).

The second reason this discrepancy makes sense is that there were millionaires in the world way before billionaires existed. Back when having a $100,000 net worth was considered filthy rich, there were very few millionaires relative to today’s numbers. For example, in 1900, there were fewer than 5,000 millionaires in the US. Not until inflation and world economic productivity grew to a certain level did we have our first billionaire (John D. Rockefeller became the world’s first billionaire in 1916).

Third, it’s getting easier and easier to become a millionaire these days. Inflation plays a key role in this. As prices go up, and household income levels go up, it follows that making a million dollars isn’t as big of a milestone as it was a hundred years ago. But don’t get me wrong, making my first million is probably the most exciting thing to happen in my life!

So let’s get back to the question at hand: is it the millionaire income or is it the lifestyle that you’re really after? Well, that’s entirely based on where you are at this point in your life, where your mindset is, and what you still feel like you haven’t yet accomplished. The answer likely surfaces when you ask yourself this question a few times and take the time to write down what it really is that being a millionaire means to you. How will being a millionaire benefit you, make you happy, and relieve all stress and worries?

Take this simple exercise and let’s get to the root of it right now. Take 60 seconds to jot down all the ways you would complete this sentence:

“Aah, if I had a million dollars I would…”

Time yourself. Go ahead, I’ll still be here. 60 seconds might seem like not enough time, but just do it right now and I’ll explain to you why in a minute.

Okay, if you have your list, then it’s probably short and sweet and primarily comprised of the most important things that you want. And that’s precisely why you only had 60 seconds - to make sure you didn’t go off naming every make and model of every car you want in your driveway! Now you have a list of those things you consider to be of highest priority.

What you want to do next is, beside every item on your list, put a “$” symbol if that item represents something that requires money and a “*” next to the items that don’t. For example, if you wrote “pay off debt,” that gets a “$” since you need money to pay off your mortgage, credit card debt, etc. If you wrote something like “spend more time with kids,” that gets a “*” because you don’t need to write a check to do that.

If you wind up with more $ signs than * symbols, then what you’re probably after at this point in time is the millionaire income. If you have more * on your list, then you’re more likely in pursuit of the millionaire lifestyle. This is a quick, simple exercise to get you thinking about what you really want, income or lifestyle. You might find that you are balanced and you want a little bit of both. And your mindset will change over time as you get closer to achieving millionaire status, and perhaps decamillionaire status!

You might try this exercise in 12 months and realize that your answers have changed significantly. If they change, analyze the reasons why and make sure that you fell comfortable with those reasons. If they haven’t change in a year, you should ask yourself why. There’s a good chance you haven’t taken any steps toward achieving the goals essential to becoming a millionaire.

Final Thought

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “I will never be a millionaire,” then it’s true. The mind is a powerful thing, and your thoughts are what make or break your reality. If you share the American Dream, then take the time to understand what it is that you’re really seeking and why. Then, and only then, will you be in full control of your destiny.

If someone were to hire you for a 30-day job and gave you the choice of two payment plans, which would you choose?

Option 1:  $10,000 per day for each of the 30 days.  (Nice!)

Option 2:  A penny on day one, then double the money each day for 30 days.

This is one of the biggest issues in network marketing that has made building your down line a slow torturous process. Your potential down line will never actually be your down line if they do not trust you.

Lets roll play for just a second so I can make a valuable point. Your are being approached by a man that you have never met before and immediately he jumps into his sales speech, telling you how wonderful his business opportunity is and how he can help you make tons of money if you join MLM Network Marketing Team.

What is your first thought about this guy?

I do not know what your impression is but my thoughts about this guy are not good at all. Walls go up, the alarms startsounding off, the warning lights are blinking and that little voice in my head tells me to be wary of this gentleman.

Web 2.0 Network Marketing experts hit the mark with this one, explaining how you need to build a relationship with your prospect first by introducing yourself, letting them know a little bit about you, who you are, what are your interest. Most importantly you need to build reputation as a consultant rather than a used car salesmen by providing FREE valuable, much needed information solving problems that your prospects are looking to you for.

I only wish I had stumbled onto this Network Marketing methodology sooner than later, it may have saved me allot of time as well as allot of frustration.

But your upline told you to sell, sell, and sell.

Can you be successful with this method prospecting method?

Yes, you can be successful in MLM using the peddler, used car sales men tactic but it truly takes a unique individual to pull it off and even if you are able to build your organization this way there are few major issues with this approach.

First - this approach is not the most effective approach to take as far as building a MLM down line in the least amount of time.
Second - duplicating this hard sell approach is easier said then done and not the best way to build a solid organization
Third - if you hate rejection, this way of building your down line is definitely not for you.

The sell yourself first method will lead to a more stable Network Marketing business foundation and reduce the likely hood of rejection because these prospects are coming to you to join rather than you running at them.

The truth is that mostly all of your highly rated prospects will join your organization because of who you are (leader) rather than the opportunity.

This is just one problem that your up line may not be telling, not because they are trying to keep things from you (that would be stupid) but rather they just do not have updated methods to pass down to you.

Duplication in network marketing mlm home based business is great, as long as you are duplicating the most effective way of building a successful organization.

Many beginners think that the only way to advertise about their products and services is to create ads and buy ad space for them. Although that can be an effective technique indeed, it’s not the only alternative around. There are other and more affordable options to consider if Internet marketing is your objective.

Create an email newsletter for customers to subscribe to.

An email newsletter gives you the opportunity to regularly contact your customers without being accused of sending them SPAM. Of course, you have to make them subscribe to your newsletter first.

To convince customers to subscribe to your email newsletter, you’ll need to give them something to look forward to. What can you offer in your email newsletter that they won’t find anywhere else in the Internet? In most cases, email newsletter share valuable information to customers: information that they may have to pay for elsewhere.

On your part, you may always include parts in your newsletter that focus on advertising about your products and services. Your readers won’t mind just as long as you’ve established a connection between what you’re advertising and whatever the main topic is for your current newsletter.

Get them to subscribe to your RSS feeds.

RSS feeds are a way of keeping your customers updated about the latest going-ons in your website. Instead of putting them to the hassle of dropping by your website everyday, having RSS feeds will let you send email updates and notices to your customers, letting them know when’s the best time for them to visit your site.

Participate in forums.

Forums are not just a place online to discuss issues, solicit suggestions, and have debates with other people. Forums are also a place for you to do a little bit of Internet marketing albeit indirectly.

With forums, the trick is using your knowledge or maybe even your personality to advertise about your company. Start by filling up your profile page. Let them know who you are and remember to include a link to your website or blog. Afterwards, choose the ideal threads to participate in. Post replies only when you truly have something valuable to contribute. Slowly but surely, other members in the forum will notice your answers and be impressedÖenough to check your profile page and see if there’s any website where they can learn more about you or what you’re offering. And yes, do remember to post replies that are directly related to your business or it’s all for naught!

Create a blog.

Register a blog in whatever blog hosting site you prefer. There are a lot to choose from. Design it in a way that befits your business but will at the same time be considered attractive by your readers.

Start posting. It can be anything related to your business, just as long as it promotes your company ñ even indirectly so ñ and it’s something that will benefit your readers. It always pays to have new and original content. You can subscribe to news services and post entries that are related to the latest news affecting your industry.

Your duty doesn’t end there. You also need to circulate. Besides encouraging readers to comment on your entries, you should go around as well and post comments on other people’s blogs. They’re sure to return the favor and then you’ll get to enjoy the benefits of link exchange.
